Join Forterra NEXT to construct a community garden in Kent for families to grow fresh and healthy food. Build plots, move wood chips, and prepare the garden for planting.
Forterra and International Rescue Community are partnering to build this new community garden to serve immigrant, refugee and low-income communities.
When: Friday, July 7, 3 to 6 PM
Where: St. Columba’s Church, 26715 Military Road, Kent (take the 192 bus from downtown Seattle)
What to wear: comfortable and weather appropriate clothes and closed-toe shoes
