SUMMARY:The South Everett Forest Preserve Needs Volunteers!
DESCRIPTION:The South Everett Forest Preserve\, is by a pocket forest tucked into a neighborhood that provides habitat for birds and other animals\, beauty for those that live around it\, and many other benefits of a forest. Join Green Everett in helping keep that forest as happy and healthy as possible as we knock out invasive plants that threaten to crowd out native plants. \nForest restoration activities:  Remove invasive non-native plants such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry. \nWhat to bring:  Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup.  We will provide coffee\, refreshments\, and light snacks\, plus tools and work gloves. \nYouth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian\, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
