DESCRIPTION:Come support the IRC’s first Climb-a-Thon! Enjoy food trucks\, free drinks\, raffles\, music\, games\, and more while climbers raise funds to help refugee and immigrant youth thrive in their new communities. Open to all ages and admission is just $20 — free for climbers who raise $20+ in pledges! \nSign up as a climber\, pledge to support a participant\, or make a one-time donation to the event here: https://go.rallyup.com/climb4refugees \nThis event will benefit the IRC’s new climbing mentorship program for refugee teens\, offered in partnership with Vertical Generation. Through weekly visits to the climbing gym\, students practice English language skills\, get help with homework\, and learn to rock climb with the support of a volunteer mentor.
