DESCRIPTION:Join us for a summer evening of food and discussion at Ubuntu Street Café as we collaborate with our apprentices to feature Somali cuisine. \nMohamed Ali\, an apprentice in our program\, is from Somalia but has lived all over the world including Kenya and Malaysia before coming to the United States. His enthusiasm for learning and his positivity is inspiring. His dream is to open a restaurant in the US. Together with our Chef Instructor\, Kausar Ahmed\, he has developed a three course menu for the evening. \nThe menu for our Migrating Meals event is one you don’t want to miss! We’ve been testing and tasting the dishes…mmm mmmm mmmmm \n*Appetizer*\nCanjeera\nPotato dumpling \n*Entree*\nCorn Grits with Beef stew (Vegetarian version available*)\nSurbyan Rice (with chicken.
