Join us for a summer evening of food and discussion at Ubuntu Street Café as we collaborate with our apprentices to feature Somali cuisine.
Mohamed Ali, an apprentice in our program, is from Somalia but has lived all over the world including Kenya and Malaysia before coming to the United States. His enthusiasm for learning and his positivity is inspiring. His dream is to open a restaurant in the US. Together with our Chef Instructor, Kausar Ahmed, he has developed a three course menu for the evening.
The menu for our Migrating Meals event is one you don’t want to miss! We’ve been testing and tasting the dishes…mmm mmmm mmmmm
