Make your impact on Martin Luther King Day and give back to the forests of Tukwila! Dig in with the Green Tukwila Partnership at one of two events happening on January 15th as an effort to benefit the health of Tukwila’s forests. Get your hands dirty by helping to remove invasive weeds from the city’s forests and shorelines. This is a great way to give back to your local community, to meet some new faces and, to spend the morning doing something good outside!
Restoration training, tools and gloves will also be provided. No experience necessary, so make sure to bring along your friends, family, and neighbors!
Please find more information on the MLK Day events and RSVP using the United Way event links below. It is important to let us know that you’re coming so that we can plan for a great event!
