Saturday Work Party at Morse Wildlife Preserve

January 13, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Morse Wildlife Preserve

Start 2018 off right! Come join the Morse Force in trail monitoring and maintenance! We will be working on the prairie, oak and Douglas fir habitat trails as well as the boardwalk, creek and forested wetlands trails. All ages and abilities are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to get your hands dirty at this monthly work party!

To sign up to volunteer, and for more information, please email aizdepski@forterra.org or call us at 206-905-6909

What to bring: Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (rubber boots, hiking/tennis shoes), long sleeves, long pants, warm layers and rain jacket. We’ll have tools and gloves for you to use! Help reduce waste by bringing your own refillable water bottle if you have one.

All ages are welcome, but we encourage all volunteers under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult. If you are a volunteer under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please print and bring this waiversigned by a parent or guardian.
