Volunteer at Forest Park with Green Everett

June 3, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

What’s Forest Park without a forest? We don’t want to find out! Join Green Everett as we continue our work in Forest Park, removing invasive plants to help restore this forest and help native trees and shrubs thrive.

Forest restoration activities:  Remove invasive non-native plants such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.

What to bring:  Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle or coffee cup.  We will provide coffee, refreshments, and light snacks, plus tools and work gloves.

Youth volunteers: If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The Green Everett Partnership youth release waiver can be found here.

Please RSVP for the event by contacting greeneverett@forterra.org / 425-238-0065

The Green Everett Partnership Vision: Healthy forested parklands supported by an aware and engaged community in which individuals, neighborhoods, nonprofits, businesses, and city government are all working together to protect and maintain their valuable public resources.
